9. Exhibition Game

Hello guys, hope this blog finds you well...

So yesterday (15/07/2012) my team faced an under 20 team that was selected to be the best filipino under 20 team that london had to offer. So the first half was brutal, we were down by at least 20 points, and all looked bad heading towards the middle of the second half. But we scored 20 points unanswered and came back to tie the game at 60-60. After this scoring run we eventually took our first lead and we started to open up a lead and we had the lead for good!! The final score was 84-67 to the U20 KAMPI select team!!

For those who don't know what KAMPI is, it is a local league here in London that offers the filipino community a chance to show off their talents on the basketball court, and to be the best team in the East end of London. Overall it was a good game, we beat the team that was suppose to represent my age group in Washington D.C this summer!! But mad respect for them and hope they all have a safe trip there and bring back the gold :D

8. Sports Day

Greetings, hope this blog finds you well :D

Like the title suggests my college will be holding a sports day!! I believe its the first time they are introducing this to year 12 students. To be honest I find this day pointless, however it will help encourage "friendly" competition. Why the "friendly" part??? Well I see competitiveness in 2 ways. You're either a clean player of the game, or you're one to trash talk opponents and intimidate all those in your way just to win. Now I don't losing, however if I do lose, I take it on the chin and move on to the next game!!

Anyway, back to sports day! Its the first time the college is introducing and I'm not entirely sure as to why introduce it now!! Apparently my year group is unfit! Who knows though?!?! I wish an event in sports day makes the students face the teachers in the sport you're participating in for example basketball xD Now that would be funny :)

7. Summer Program

Anyways, So Instead Of My College Giving Me A Lengthy Holiday I Have To Come In For A Summer Program, To Prepare Us For Year 13. Thats All Well And Good, But Come On!! I've Had To Endure Probably The Toughest Exams I Have Faced And Now We Still Have To Go In...

Although I Must Say, Visiting Queen Mary University Was Pretty Cool!! Got A Good Vibe Going There!! I Just Wish I Could Have Seen The Basketball Courts There, But The Gym Looked Awesome :D On Top Of That We Have To Do More Work To Get Us Ready For It....

6. Exam Update And Plans For After

Hello everyone, hope this blog finds you well!!

So I'm just one exam away from having a well deserved break. So far so good for the four exams but this last one was definitely the hardest. But what's done is done i guess! Anyways its my final chemistry exam this year and personally I will find it challenging. If the second exam can be as easy-ish as the first paper then I should be fine to be honest!! All I know is, this will really get me thinking.

As for after the exams, its straight up basketball training for me!! Need to train my damn hardest to keep up in the tournaments I will be playing in. I will be playing towards the start of the tournament, but I am sadly going Philippines and won't be playing for most of the tournaments and I hope to catch the endings of the tournament.

Anyways back to "revision". Procrastination kills!! Thanks for taking time out to read my blog :D

5. Exam Update

Greetings! Hope this blog finds you well :D
Well in my previous blog i did say that I was entering my exam period! On Monday I had my first exam which was Business Studies!! It went well i guess, could have done better but hey its what everyone says right?
And Today I had my chemistry exam!! Everyone has that one subject they don't excel in, and chemistry is that subject for me! However that paper we got was decent! Got every question answered and was confident that all my answers were right! But I don't want to jinx it so I'm gonna stop there :D
Well no college for the rest of the week for me :D And next Monday I start another cycle of exams with one everyday up to Wednesday!!

4. My Hair And Exams

So like I said before the exam is just a day and I have been revising so hard!! How can I possibly fail?? Well going by past results I can;t even get an A :(  But Im already for it now!! I need a good night sleep to calm down! People always get nervous and cant handle the pressure, but that's when im at my best! Im use to playing under pressure during basketball games so I can apply to exams!!

Moving on! Yes my hair! Such a strange topic! I've always made a rule that only myself and my mum could touch my hair!! However in recent months/weeks I've found the girls in my college touching my hair whenever they want. Now everyone knows I dont like it! One reason is because I dont know what they have touched before they touch my hair (not to sound dirty or anything :P) But I guess everyone just loves touching my hair -___-

3. College Life and More

So currently I am a college student studying Business Studies, Product Design and Chemistry!! Now I know chemistry is a weird and out of the blue choice, but hey its my life and I actually enjoy the subject. That was until it got upto A-Level!! Dont get me wrong I still enjoy the subject but thats life i guess. So during the Product Design lesson today I was called out to talk to my teacher!! My coursework is now at an A Grade *does a celebratory dance* and yeah i was really pleased, but now I have to focus on the exam...
My first exam is on the 14th May and the pressure is really on to get the best grades possible.

Aside from school I was asked to join a local basketball team and play in multiple tournaments over the summer period. Which is a great place for me to showcase my talents, however i am going abroad this summer -____- so I'll be lucky to make it to the end of the tournaments.
Also recently my sister loses her phone. My mum and dad seemed upset. However a couple of hours ago, my dad came home with a new Blackberry Bold (you know the touchscreen one) and guess who he gives it to!

It just doesn't make sense. She loses her phone and in a way its a blessing in disguise?!?!? :|
Anyway thats it for now, Tired of ranting and some hardcore revision has to be done!!
